29 Jun Aaron Froud joins BellchambersBarrett as Partner
We are delighted to welcome Aaron Froud to BellchambersBarrett, who joined as Partner in June 2021.
A long-planned addition to the firm, Aaron comes from KPMG Australia, where he was Partner for the last three and a half years.
With more than 20 years’ experience in personal services tax, business advisory and succession planning, Aaron has deep expertise in diverse industries across the private sector. He has held management roles in both consulting and client-side environments.
As our ninth Partner, Aaron will help us grow our private client base in Canberra and help lead our Business Services division – alongside Jamie Lucas, Sean Michelle, Deb Poulton and our other recent addition, Vicki Sofatzis.
On the appointment, Shane Bellchambers says he is certain that Aaron has the right expertise and personal qualities to help take our firm forward.
“Several of us worked with Aaron at a previous workplace around 10 years ago, so we have been looking for an opportunity to bring him into the firm since our earliest days,” says Shane.
“And we are all thrilled it has finally come to fruition. I am sure he will add immense value very quickly. He is relatable and down-to-earth – and a natural relationships person.”
For Aaron, this was an opportunity that came up at the right time.
Although his career as Partner at KPMG Australia was a successful and rewarding one, he was missing working with peers on the higher level. So, when conversations with BellchambersBarrett began once again, Aaron decided to finally jump on board.
“I’ve always liked the idea of working in a smaller practice where I can service small and medium businesses and deal with clients directly. Here at BellchambersBarrett, I get to do exactly that – while also collaborating with the other Partners day-to-day to make decisions and set the firm’s direction.
“Even though I am only a week in, I can already see that the culture here is very special. It’s open and transparent, and regardless of the hierarchy, everyone interacts as peers and helps each other out. We are working towards a common goal – as one cohesive team.
“I can’t wait to get to know everyone better. And of course, to inject a bit of my personality into the team,” says Aaron.
Once again, welcome to the firm, Aaron! We are excited to have you on board. You were worth the wait!
