Our recent Social Club event saw the BellchambersBarrett team swap their suits for smocks, with a lively Paint and Sip night that added a splash of colour to our usual routines.

Creative collaborations

There’s nothing like mixing paints and pinots to bring a team together. Our recent Paint and Sip night, organised by the lively BellchambersBarrett Social Club, proved this.

Held in the newly fitted out BellchambersBarrett office and hosted by Paint Along, the evening offered the perfect opportunity for us all to connect in new ways – while learning new skills. Everyone brought their A-game, giving the paintings their all… with some personal spins.

By the end of the evening, everyone walked away with their own painting of an iconic Canberran landscape: the view across Lake Burley Griffin with hot air balloons and the National Library in the background.

Sounds, snacks and successes

The laughter and conversation weren’t all that filled the air; our very own Aaron Froud brought his best music knowledge to provide the soundtrack for the evening.
And the food? Catered by Mr Papa – a team favourite.

We also celebrated the team’s artistic efforts. Allison Armstrong snagged the People’s Choice Award. Samuel Tredgold earned the Encouragement Award. And Vernon Mah received an honourable mention – all proof that talent thrives in our ranks.

The more, the merrier

We were delighted that a few soon-to-be BellchambersBarrett employees were able to attend the evening, which was a special way to introduce them to the team and our culture.

At BellchambersBarrett, we care about building our team’s professional skills and interpersonal relationships. Witnessing new faces integrate with current team members was truly rewarding and a testament to our firm’s welcoming nature.

As we admired our masterpieces and finished our drinks, the sentiment was unanimous: evenings like these do so much more than spark our creativity. They’re also essential to BellchambersBarrett’s sense of social unity.

We’re already looking forward to the next gathering!
