Our community passion in action

Proud of our strong giving spirit, we participate in a range of initiatives to support the people and organisations around us – like the ones below.

A roundup of our 2022 annual conference

Our BellchambersBarrett annual conference is something we look forward to every year. It’s the time when all staff can get together, celebrate our successes – and grow as a team.

Riding with heart for Hartley Court

We were thrilled to be back in the saddle for the annual Hartley Cycle Challenge. Since 2019, we have raised more than $100,000 for Hartley Lifecare, a non-profit that enhances the lives of people with disabilities in our community.

Shining a spotlight on young charities

The global 10x10 movement recently held an inspiring event in ACT to support new not-for-profit organisations. BellchambersBarrett pitched into the fun and auction to support Canberran charities.

Striking up conversations on the field

The ACT Young CA Soccer Day saw us donning our sports gear for team building and networking. It was also a fun way for many of our graduates to kick their feet up and de-stress.

Raising our glasses to boost cancer research

Canberra Cancerians’ Cocktail Party made a glamorous return in 2021. And BellchambersBarrett was proud to support their mission of fighting cancer.

Celebrating Indigenous Round

We are proud to support the Belconnen Magpies Football Club and their 2021 Indigenous Jersey. The jersey reflects and pays tribute to Ngunnawal country, the land on which we live and play football.

Celebrating Hartley

This year is the 20th Anniversary of the Hartley Cycle Challenge which has raised over $583,000 to help give people with a disability the opportunity to live their best life.

Transforming men’s health with our mo’s

Every November, we proudly put down our shavers to support the Movember Foundation and its partners – Beyond Blue and Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.

Creating ‘Homes of Hope’ through a black-tie ball

The 2018 Luton Charity Ball supported three charities: Karinya House, Hartley LifeCare and Project Independence. As a ‘Neon Sponsor’, BellchambersBarrett saw this event as the perfect opportunity to empower clients, staff – and the women in our community.

Riding hundreds of kilometres. Raising thousands of dollars.

Established in 1962, Hartley LifeCare provides accommodation for people with disabilities, their families and their carers. In 2018, our team took part in the Hartley Cycle Challenge – riding hundreds of kilometres in only three days.
