“I have opportunities to grow – personally and professionally.” – Lachlan Quinn

When considering his next career move, Lachlan Quinn knew he wanted varied work, diverse challenges, and a strong people culture. At BellchambersBarrett, he found all these – and more.

Today, Lachlan is a Senior Manager in Business Services. He shares his story with us.

Valued roles and versatile work

I joined BellchambersBarrett in 2021 as a senior professional. Since then, I’ve worked in both the Consulting & Assurance and Business Services teams.

My roles have allowed me to work with incredibly diverse and interesting clients. Some key highlights? Providing financial management assistance for Commonwealth departments. Winning and delivering work for a key property development client. And giving taxation and business advice to businesses in a range of industries, including construction, hospitality, and primary production.

So, my work certainly never gets repetitive!

Instead, there are always opportunities to grow – both personally and professionally. Being exposed to the varying demands of different sectors, and getting to embrace new challenges, has been invaluable to my career.

A firm that’s friendly and fun

Some of the best things about BellchambersBarrett are the fantastic people – and the awesome culture.

The firm provides a positive, exciting environment where we can all thrive. And everyone here is genuinely supportive and friendly, ready to help whenever they can.

Plus, we have quite an active social club at BellchambersBarrett. And the regular events and gatherings give us the opportunity to connect and have fun together.

Doing – and feeling – good

To me, what really separates us from the other firms I’ve worked with is our community involvement.

From cocktail parties to cycling challenges, our team is always looking for opportunities to get involved and support not-for-profits. I really enjoy and value that. Because giving back benefits the community – and ultimately, our own team culture too.

It’s been a wonderful two years at BellchambersBarrett, and I look forward to growing even more with the firm.
